Sky Blue Hue

Up until this point, all of the posts have been images and images only, but I feel like I need to start attaching words to what I post. It does take away some of the responsibility of the images, but I will try not to make the text attached to each post a description of the image. Rather, they will be a few brief sentences that will either tell a story or an experience that I experienced while capturing the image.

In this case, I had found myself at a biker's shop in Inglewood in amidst of a cafe racer meet. Paint was sparse amongst the aged metal. If there was paint to be seen, it was used to accent the overal character of the machine, rather than become part of core personality. With that observation, this old Chevy stood out like an unused brush in a jar of rugged horse hair. I was tempted to call it Old Blue, but with its bright and fresh paint, it was more appropriate to associate it with the warm, clean Winter sky that SoCal is so blessed to have.
